Intro to the Torch: Making Headpins & Pinning Elements

Level: Beginner Silver Smithing/Intermediate Wire Working
This fun and easy introduction to working with fire teaches the basic elements of working with a small butane torch to make ball end headpins. We'll discuss fueling the torch and lighting it, safely handling sterling silver in fire, and using sterling silver's natural melting properties to secure elements through pinning procedures. Peyote Stitch Bracelet

Peyote stitch is the single most versatile stitch a beader canlearn. This class teaches simple peyote stitch in a clean, modern bracelet using Delica seed beads and a sterling silver slide clasp.
